Popularity and usage intention of new features on social media sites in France 2020
With new social media platforms such as TikTok that are on the rise, the competitive market for social networks has become a sharp one. To stay in position, many big name companies are investing in their development strategies, to continue to attract French Internet users. Thus social media platforms like Facebook have enforced their position in the e-commerce industry with Facebook shops, with a notoriety of 22 percent within the French social media population. In total, about 18 to 19 percent of the respondents were planning to use Facebook shops and the new Snapchat features in July 2020
