In a survey conducted in 2020, regarding whether or not respondents across the Asia Pacific region cared for children more during the coronavirus pandemic, 35 percent of female respondents stated that they cared for children more. Comparatively, for the same survey 51 percent of the male respondents in the Asia Pacific region stated that they did not usually care for children, therefore, it did not increase.
