Latin America: influenza cases 2015-2020

In 2020, there were nearly nine thousand registered cases of influenza in Latin America and the Caribbean. This shows a decrease of around 74 percent in comparison to 2016, when the region recorded over 35 thousand influenza infections. In 2020, Mexico reported nearly 4.8 thousand cases of influenza A and B.
