Change in online shopping frequency according to the generation in France 2020
Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus and the resulting containement, the shopping behavior of many consumers has changed. Resuming to means of online shopping, about 43 percent of Generation Y / Z consumers say they have made more purchases online this year than last year compared to 28 percent of seniors. Younger generations have thus spent more online despite containment and the pandemic, while seniors have not changed their habits.
