Healthcare experience and engagement among U.S. young vs older women as of 2021
According to a 2021 survey, 6 in 10 women aged 20-34 put off seeing a doctor until their symptoms were urgent, while just 3 in 10 older women aged 55 and above did so. In addition, 44 percent of younger women felt too embarrassed to bring up certain health issues vs just 11 percent among older women.
