Price of a pack of cigarettes in West Africa 2008-2018, by country
Across countries of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), Gambia and Cape Verde registered the highest prices for a pack of cigarettes. This amounted to 4.66 U.S. dollars and 3.96 U.S. dollars, respectively, for a 20 pack of the most sold cigarette brand at 2018 Purchasing Power Parity (PPP). On the other hand, Guinea and Liberia recorded some of the lowest values in West Africa.
