Leading situations when driver-assistance systems were operating in Japan 2021
According to a survey conducted in February 2021, the leading situation in which car drivers were aware of using driver-assistance systems was while parking, adding up to 52 percent of respondents. Also called advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), these include, for example, collision avoidance systems, lane departure warning systems, obstacle sensors, distance maintaining systems, bird's eye view cameras, and traffic sign recognition.
