Awareness of diseases caused by smoking in China 2018
Thanks to the tobacco control campaigns in China, most of the public was aware of the harm of smoking. In 2018, nearly 83 percent of Chinese knew that smoking might cause lung cancer. Also, half of the Chinese adults knew that smoking might lead to heart disease.
