Opinions on men being final family decision makers in North Africa 2022, by country
Between 2021 and 2022, in five out of seven countries in North Africa, over 60 percent of respondents believed that men should have the final say in family-related matters. The country where this sentiment was strongest was Algeria, where 65 percent of survey participants had this opinion. Conversely, Tunisia recorded the lowest share, at approximately 43 percent.
