Greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture in CEE 2022, by country
Poland recorded the highest volume of greenhouse gas emissions originating from agriculture, forestry, and fishing activities in 2022, totaling nearly 54 million tons of carbon dioxide equivalent. Romania followed in the ranking with an annual emission of over 20 million tons of co2 equivalent. In comparison, Estonia recorded the lowest emission volume at 1.75 million tons of co2 equivalent.
