This statistic shows the travel information sources that the residents of the European Union (EU) consider to be the most important when making holiday plans in 2014. Over half of both male and female respondents relied on recommendations from friends, colleagues or relatives, while slightly more males respondents relied on internet websites (49 percent compared to 44 percent).
