Per capita alcohol consumption of all beverages in the U.S. West 1977-2022
In 2022, the alcohol consumption per capita in the West region of the U.S. was 2.71 gallons of ethanol (pure alcohol). The Health People program initiated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services established a nationwide objective of no more than 2.1 gallons of alcohol per capita.
