Mobile app user retention rate worldwide 2019, by country
Not all countries can boast the same degree of user retention on day 30. As of August 2019, Japan's day 30 post-install app retention rate was 5.4 percent, the largest out of all measured countries. In comparison, China's day 30 app user retention amounted to 1.5 percent. App retention also varies by vertical, with news apps having the highest one month user retention rate worldwide.
