Change of seats in parliament after general election in United Kingdom (UK) 2017
This statistic shows the change in the number of parliamentary seats won by political parties following the result of general election in the United Kingdom on June 8th 2017. The Labour Party recorded the greatest change in seat numbers, having won an additional 30 seats compared with previous general election results. In contrast, the Scottish National Party (SNP) had experienced the greatest loss in seat numbers, losing 21 seats. The Conservative Party has also suffered a loss in seat numbers, with 13 seats less than in the previous general election.
