Reasons for switching cosmetic brands among women in the UK 2017
This statistic shows the results of a 2017 survey in which female respondents from the United Kingdom (UK) were asked what would make them switch their usual cosmetic (foundation, lipstick, mascara etc.) brand. The most likely reason for switching brands is wanting to try something new, quoted by 46 percent of respondents. Other frequently cited reasons for brand switching are deals on other brands (35 percent), dissatisfaction with one's usual brand (28 percent) and recommendations from friends/acquaintances (27 percent).
