Italy: public awareness of cured meat production 2017, by age group
This statistic presents the results of a survey conducted in Italy between August 1 and September 4, 2017. During the survey, individuals were asked to state whether they were aware or not of the existence of cured meat products derived from sustainable farming practices (e.g. no intensive livestock farming and no use of antibiotics as feed additives), sorted by age group. A glance at the graph reveals no significant differences between Millennials and people aged 35 and over when it comes to their knowledge of cured meat produced in a sustainable way (55 percent and 57 percent, respectively).
