Canadian kids and teens choosing to read in their free time 2017, by gender
This statistic shows the share of children and teenagers in Canada who choose to read in their free time as of February 2017, broken down by gender. The findings show that as of the date of survey, girls were more likely to choose to read in their free time than boys, with 68 percent of girls aged 6-17 years old saying that they agreed with this statement, compared to 54 percent of boys who said the same.
