Expected change in medical costs APAC 2019 by category
In a survey conducted in 2019, regarding the expected change in medical costs, 60 percent of respondents in the Asia Pacific region expected a moderate increase in maternity costs over the following five years. Comparatively, in the same survey 19 percent of respondents in the Asia Pacific region stated that they expected a significant increase in behavioral and mental health costs over the next five years.
