U.S. bingeing habits: sleep loss from media consumption 2019, by gender

A survey held in September 2019 in the United States showed that men were much more likely to have lost sleep due to binge-watching sports content than women, with 75 percent admitting that they had done so compared to 45 percent of female respondents. Men were also more likely to stay awake to play video games, though women made up the majority of late-night readers.
