Approximately 16 percent of 18 to 24 year old's in Spain were early leavers from education and training in 2020, the most of any European country. Early leavers of education and training made up about 10.1 percent of this age group in Germany, which was close to the European Union average. Croatia had the lowest share of early leavers, at just 2.2 percent of 18 to 24 year old's.
