Leading consequences of urban commuting India 2019
Over 70 percent of respondents felt that congestion was the key externality due to urban commuting in India, according to a survey on urban mobility in 2019. Notably, nearly 60 percent of the surveyed respondents rated all the considered consequences such as congestion, air pollution, noise pollution and impact on climate change as highly important.
