Share of travel and tourism spending in the Caribbean 2021, by purpose
In 2021, 88 percent of the total spending on travel and tourism in the Caribbean corresponded to leisure tourism, while business tourism accounted for the remaining percentage. That same year, international tourism represented more than 70 percent of the region's total tourism expenditure.
