Share of travel and tourism spending in Mexico 2021, by purpose
In 2021, 95 percent of the total spending on travel and tourism in Mexico corresponded to leisure tourism, while business tourism accounted for the remaining five percent. In the previous year, the average personal expenditure of international tourists in the North American country amounted to roughly 215 U.S. dollars.
