According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in Singapore, 55 percent of the female and 44 percent of male respondents decreased their online purchases because they have been affected by the economic impacts of COVID-19 as of May 2020. However, the same survey also shows that Singaporeans increased their online purchases because they were practicing social distancing during the pandemic.
