Share of monthly savings among small city residents in China 2019

According to a survey among Chinese internet users from small cities and rural areas, more than one-third of respondents had no monthly savings. About 18 percent of respondents could save on average 2,000 to 3,000 yuan every month. The younger generation had comparably fewer savings.
