Relief rental measures addressed by retailers during COVID-19 APAC 2020
In a survey conducted in 2020, regarding the retail industry in the Asia Pacific region during the coronavirus pandemic, 82 percent of surveyed retailers stated that they had negotiated rental reductions with their landlord. Comparatively, for the same survey just eight percent of surveyed retailers stated that no discussions had taken place with their landlords regarding rental agreements during the coronavirus pandemic.
