Predicated change in the regional distribution of ETF investments 2020-2023
Fund managers expect the share of their exchange traded fund (ETF) investments in China to double between 2020 and 2023. According to a 2020 survey, they believed ETFs in China were to rise from three percent to six percent of their total portfolio. While this share is still much smaller than that commanded by the United States and Europe, this change indicates Chinese investments will overtake those in 'other developed economies' - a category the source used and includes a country like Japan.
