Global COVID-19 humanitarian response plan requirement MENA 2020, by country
In 2020, the requirements for the global humanitarian response plan after the COVID-19 pandemic in conflict and risk countries in the Arab region was the highest for Yemen at about 385.7 million U.S. dollars. Although the COVID-19 cases in the region were low by international standards, the conflict and humanitarian crises which left more than 57 million people in need of humanitarian assistance even prior to the pandemic made them vulnerable to a greater threat.
