Annual sales growth of physical stores in the UK 2019-2022, by sector
Over the period between 2019 and 2020, overall retail sales in physical stores contracted by 10.67 percent in the United Kingdom. This decline was largely driven by non-food retail sales, which saw approximately a 22 percent drop in that year. By 2022, retail sales in physical stores are expected to improve by around seven percent in total, with non-food store sales growing at the rate of 12 percent.
