Results in referenda on EU accession in the CEE region 2003
Between March and September 2003, referenda were held in individual Central and Eastern European countries on joining the European Union. Support was highest in Slovenia, where 90 percent of voters wished to join the EU. The highest voter turnout was in Latvia, where over 72 eligible voters participated in the referendum.
