U.S. rate of birth defects among infants from Zika pregnancies 2015-2018, by location

Between December 1, 2015 and March 31, 2018, among pregnancies with laboratory evidence of confirmed or possible Zika virus infection, 4.6 percent of the live-born infants had any Zika-associated birth defect. This percentage varies by location of birth.
