Number of households struggling to pay bills in the Netherlands 2022
In 2022, many household in the Netherlands will struggle to pay their bills. A total of 470,000 households earning up to 120 percent of the minimum income may struggle to pay their bills in the upcoming year, equating to around 84 percent of all the households in that income group. Of these 470,000 hoseholds, 250,000 are already in trouble, regardless of steeply rising prices.
