Share of electricity generated from renewable sources in CEE 2010-2022, by country
Croatia has generated the highest share of electricity from renewable sources among the considered Central and Eastern European countries over the observed time. In 2023, the country sourced more than 63 percent of its electricity from renewables, marking a decrease compared to the previous year. Czechia was on the other end of the spectrum, generating only around 12 percent of electricity from renewable sources.
