intracontinental exports from Africa are expected to cover 15 percent of the total exports. Senegal, with 36 percent of the exports in 2020, would account for the highest share of the exports in 2035, at 41 percent, compared to the other African countries. Also, under African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) initiatives, intra-AfCFTA exports are forecast to remain highest in Senegal, with 50 percent of its total exports, followed by Kenya with 43 percent.
