COVID-19 booster shots in Latin America & the Caribbean 2022, by country

As of December 23, 2022, Chile was the country that administered the highest number of COVID-19 vaccine booster shots per 100 population in Latin America and the Caribbean, with around 143.4 doses per hundred inhabitants. Peru and Uruguay followed, having applied around 84.7 and 82.3 booster shots per 100 people against COVID-19, respectively. Moreover, nearly 95 percent of the Chilean population received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as of December 23, 2022.
