As of April 2022, around 44 percent of marketers surveyed worldwide reported using geo-targeting in their digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising strategies. Approximately 42 percent of respondents included contextual targeting in their tactics, whereas 35 percent complemented a digital plan with DOOH ads. Another source projected that marketers' global spending on DOOH ads would surpass 15 billion U.S. dollars in 2023.
