Perception on defence spending among NATO members 2023
In 2023, 37 percent of people in NATO member states thought that their country should spend more on defence, compared with 36 percent who thought current levels of defence spending should be maintained. By contrast, 15 percent of people across NATO states thought that defence spending should be cut.
