This statistic shows the distribution of spending on HIV programs in low- and middle-income countries in 2012 and 2015, by activity. In 2012, prevention of mother-to-child transmission was responsible for 4 percent of the total spending on HIV programs in low- and middle-income countries. This figure is expected to increase to some 10 percent in 2015.
