In 2019, 77 percent of the respondents claimed that mobile was their main method of making and receiving telephone calls at home, whereas 21 percent used landline phones at home.
Landline phones were preferred over cell phones when it came to long calls, and making personal appointments. Whereas cell phones were preferred when it came to calling close friends and work calls.
