Share of BDU market revenue in Canada 2013-2018, by platform
Looking at the revenue market share of Broadcast Distribution Undertakings (BDUs) in Canada from 2013 to 2018 broken down by distribution platform, it is clear that cable's revenue share will continue to drop as IPTV's will increase. In 2018, the revenue share held by IPTV reached 25 percent, up by 15 percent from the figure recorded in 2013. Meanwhile in the same time period, cable's share dropped from 62 to 53 percent.
