Volume of biodiesel fuel consumed in the transport sector in the EU 1990-2020
The volume of biodiesel consumed by the European Union's transport sector has experienced an overall growth over the years. Between 1990 and 2020, figures increased by more than 14 million metric tons of oil equivalent. In the latter year, the total volume of biodiesel fuel consumed for transport in the EU amounted to some 14,024 thousand tons of oil equivalent.
