Support to single payer health care system in the U.S. by party ID 2016
This statistic presents the opinions of U.S. respondents, by party identification, concerning support for or opposition to a single payer health care system. It was found that 54 percent of Democratic voters supported a single payer health care system, whereas 38 percent of Independent voters and only 22 percent of Republican voters supported such a system.
