Imports of solid fossil fuels in the European Union (EU-27) 2021, by country

The European Union (EU) imported over 51.1 million metric tons of solid fossil fuels from Russia, making it the main importer into the community. The second largest, but significantly smaller importer of such resources was Australia which supplied the EU with around 16.2 million metric tons of solid fossil fuels, slightly more than the United States.
