Brazil: number of automobile industry workers 2005-2021
In 2021, around 101 thousand people were employed in the automobile production sector in Brazil, the lowest figure reported since 2006. However, the employment numbers remained almost the same compared to the previous year. When including the agricultural and machinery construction segment, the Brazilian automotive industry employed approximately 120 thousand people that year.
