Number of secondary schools in Malaysia 2012-2021, by type
In 2021, there were around 2.44 thousand public secondary schools in Malaysia, which include government or government-aided schools. In the same year, there were 167 private secondary school. The number of both public and private secondary schools has slightly increased compared to the previous year.
