Main barriers to the purchase of electric cars in Italy 2018, by type
In April 2018, private car buyers in Italy were asked to indicate on which conditions they would buy an electric car. As of the survey period, 57 percent of respondents thought that electric cars were too expensive to buy and to keep. Additionally, half of respondents had concerns regarding their charging.
