Mexico: FDI from the European Union 2016-2023
As of 2023, the foreign direct investment (FDI) from the European Union in Mexico amounted to almost nine billion U.S. dollars. During that same year, Spain was the EU country with the highest level of investment in Mexico recording over 3.7 billion, followed by Germany with 2.4 billion USD. Also in 2023, the FDI in Mexico's agriculture sector totaled in at nearly 110 billion U.S. dollars.
