Shoppers' behaviors regarding online and offline shopping Singapore 2019
With the prevalence of online shopping websites and platforms, Singaporean shoppers have different a choice between purchasing items online or offline. According to a survey conducted in Singapore in May 2019, 67 percent of shoppers practiced 'webrooming', which was to first browse items online on internet shopping platforms or websites, and then purchasing it in-store. On the other hand, 63 percent of shoppers practiced 'showrooming', which was to first look at items in-store before purchasing it online.
