UK: share of adults who buy more seasonal & local groceries in 2019/2020, by gender
In 2019/2020, asked in a survey whether or not they eat more locally sourced and seasonal food from supermarkets compared to a year ago, roughly twelve percent of male respondents strongly agreed that they did so. The share of those who agreed strongly among female respondents came to 14 percent. In general a larger share of female respondents agreed overall (strongly and slightly) than male respondents.
