Business travelers' main reasons against vaccination passports worldwide 2021
As the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic hit travel and tourism hard in 2020 and into 2021, several countries started to consider different options to facilitate travel during the health crisis while minimizing the risk of spreading the virus. For instance, one much-discussed idea was that of introducing vaccination passports, which would limit travel to those who have been vaccinated against COVID-19. A March 2021 gauged the opinion of business travel professionals worldwide on issuing vaccination passports. According to the study, 73 percent of respondents who were not in favor of vaccination passports were against this idea because of privacy concerns.
